Business development managers duties
-Primary role will be to focus on new business, aiming mainly at tourist boards and hotel groups
-Building awareness and maintaining industry relationships on behalf of the company
-Manging the process from making new contacts, to be aware off when the RFPs are being published
-Creating, editing and presenting the RFPs to very high standard
-Recommend commercial terms to secure new clients
-Monitor competitor activity
Business development managers skills required
-Travel industry business development management experience working for a representation company
-Experience of targeting tourist boards and Hotel groups
-Knowledge and proven success in the tourism PR market
-High past success rate in gaining new business
-Existing network of tourism office contacts
-Strong presentation skills
Additional information
-Initially a 6 months contract, ideally to go perm after 6 months is completed
