Commercial Accountant

Commercial Accountant - An exciting opportunity with this ever growing travel company has arisen in their Finance team, with the focus being responsible for the production and completion of month end accounts. Office based near Leicester, paying circa £37K

Commercial Accountant, Responsibilities: 

• Full ownership of the P&L down to margin taking responsibility for all elements including Reconciliation, reviewing all cost of sale accruals and preparing all cost of sale prepayments.
• Delivering the month end close on time 
• Take ownership for reconciling, allocating and completing balance sheet accounts every month
• Prepare tour profitability reports providing commentary and analysis 

Commercial Accountant, Skills Required:

• Part qualified accountant working towards either ACCA or CIMA qualifications
• Excellent working knowledge of Excel
• Demonstrate a high level of analytical skills
• Have knowledge of SUN or equivalent accounting system

Additional Information:

• Paying circa £37K
• Office based in their offices based near Leicester
• Working Mon - Fri 9am - 5.15pm.
