Retail Travel manager

Retail Travel manager -Required for this established independent travel company opening a brand new shop in an upmarket town in the Wirral, close to Chester. They are looking for an experienced Retail travel manager and will pay up to £35,000 + benefits alongside Educationals every year!.

Retail travel mangers duties
 

• Hands on Travel Manager whilst delivering results, including driving individual and store targets as well as achievement set KPI
• Inspire, motivate and mentor a small sales team of 2-3 travel consultants, helping them flourish and ensure they reach their potential
• Work with your team on their own Personal Development Plans and set goals for progression and achievement
• Bring new ideas to the table for business growth, driving in-store events and working together with the owner to work on a localised marketing strategy
• Lead by example, being hands on, with exceptional customer service and have a real passion for people and Luxury Holidays.   

Retail travel managers skills required

• Previous experience managing a retail travel agency store is a must
• Tenacious and driven with a proven track record of reaching and exceeding personal targets
• You’ll be a leader by nature, with the ability to inspire and motivate your team on a daily basis
• Flexible and adaptable to change
• You should be very commercially aware, with an eye for detail, opportunity and keeping abreast of industry trends
• We’re looking for an individual that can confidently communicate with people at all levels of the business whilst also building relationships with local repeat customers in an upmarket town.
• Knowledge of high-end travel products, Tour operators and cruise knowledge is valuable in this role.
