Commercial Analyst
A leading luxury travel company is seeking a Commercial Analyst to join their expanding commercial team based in Greater Manchester. This role will support the UK business across a diverse range of travel product, delivering accurate reporting, pricing updates, and promotional coordination. It’s a fantastic opportunity for a commercially minded analyst to join a fast-paced, global travel brand with ambitious growth plans. Salary circa £33k to £38k, hybrid working.
Commercial Analyst – Role & Responsibilities:
- Analyse performance data to support pricing, promotions, and revenue optimisation
- Deliver daily, weekly, and monthly KPI reporting across key commercial metrics
- Monitor competitor pricing and availability to inform strategy
- Support promotional activity from a pricing and discounting perspective
- Maintain and develop analytical tools to track demand trends and booking curves
- Collaborate with global commercial teams to align market strategy and performance insights
- Provide ad hoc analytical support to senior stakeholders and executive team
Commercial Analyst – Skills Required:
- 2–3 years’ experience in a commercial, marketing or sales analytics role
- Strong Excel skills including formulas, pivot tables, and data manipulation
- Experience with Power BI or Tableau is essential
- Understanding of revenue management principles and booking curve dynamics
- Highly analytical with the ability to interpret complex data and present actionable insights
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Organised, self-motivated, and adaptable in a fast-changing environment
- Experience in travel, cruise or hospitality sectors preferred
Commercial Analyst – Additional Information:
- Salary circa £33k to £38k dependent on experience
- Monday to Friday, 9am–5.30pm (flexible working patterns considered)
- Hybrid working: 3 days per week in the Greater Manchester office
