Retail Travel Consultant

An excellent opportunity has arisen to join an independent Retail travel agent as a  Travel Consultant, based on the Wirral close to Chester . You will be selling long haul , short haul and cruise holidays all over the world to direct customers over the phone and face to face in a retail travel shop and lovely upmarket town. Salary is up to £28k depending on experience   

The successful candidate will be driven and worked in a travel sales role recently with some Cruise knowledge. 

As a Retail Travel consultant you will:

• Sell holidays face to face and over the phone ranging from Mediterranean to long haul  as well as cruising holidays 
• Up sell additional extras and suggest those that complement the customers package
• Switch selling of sold out holidays
• Tailor make packages to the clients needs
• Sell a full range of suitable Travel companies 
   

Retail Travel consultant Skills required:

• Travel sales experience working for a Travel company
• Target driven and determination to succeed
• Excellent telephone manner with excellent customer service
• Ability and experience of dealing with the affluent clientele
• Experience of selling holidays for a travel company 

Other info: 

• Full time or 4 days available
• Working hours: 9am - 5pm Mon – Sat
• No Sundays and no Bank holidays
• 5 weeks holiday allowance
• Educational' s each year
• Free Parking !
