Travel consultant - Required for this lovely global DMC who have opened their brand new office in the UK. They organise luxury UK tours, mainly dealing with American travel agents, office based in Shrewsbury or Telford, Monday to Friday, salary up to 27k plus comm and benefits.
Travel consultants duties
-Dealing with enquiries for UK luxury tours and experiences, from mainly US travel agents by email and phone
-Taking down details for the clients travel plans and putting together a luxury tailormade trip suiting the clients requirements and budget.
-Booking Hotels, transportation, restaurants, experiences, attractions etc
-Making amendments to the quote until the client is happy and ready to book
-Taking deposits or full payment
Travel consultants skills required
-Ideally experience in the travel industry, be it in reservations, operations etc
-Passion for the UK
-Organised, sales driven
-Able to work in the office 5 days a week, Monday to Friday, after probation they would be happy with a day from home.
