Travel consultant

Travel consultant - 26/30k plus bonus Home, Hybrid or office. 
My client and established travel company with fantastic benefits are looking for an experienced travel consultant to sell worldwide luxury travel. The successful candidate must have worked in travel sales in a shop or selling over the phone. Salary ideally up to 28k but they may stretch for the right candidate.

Travel consultants duties
-Selling worldwide travel, handling enquiries from customers in a professional and timely manner
-Manage a daily allocation of enquiries to qualify and quote either by phone, email and occasionally in person
-Provide timely responses to emails and calls from new enquiries relating to your bookings, through to post sales customer service and welcome home engagement
-Produce engaging, informative, and sales driven tailor made quotes 
-Work as a team to achieve and surpass sales targets

Travel consultants skills required
- Must have 3 years plus travel industry sales experience for a travel agent or tour operator
-Demonstrate industry leading customer service skills
-Excellent communicator both written and verbal
-Excellent knowledge of worldwide destinations
-Experience is using booking systems such as airlines, bed banks and suppliers
-Ideally GDS experience, but this is not a must
